Last weekend was the Holy Walk, a sure sign that the day we celebrate as the birth of Christ is just around the corner. This year it was 'early' but I think it was another good year. The weather was decent, though pretty cold. It didn't seem to dampen the spirits of those that came, though some of the small children weren't dressed quite warm enough. Lots of people turned out to clean up on Sunday, which was a welcomed suprise. Although, I am sure that we were nowhere near breaking attendance records, I was suprised by one thing. As I talked to another guy who helps, he said that he didn't seem to recognize many people, and I agreed. I picked out a few Bremen letter jackets, but for the most part it seemed like the faces were new. Which is great! If we change the life of one person, it makes it all worth it.
In other, completely unrelated news, I broke down and went to the doctor. I have been having headaches and lots of sinus pain for the last 2-3........ years. Chronic Sinusitis. I am taking some steroids to pump up my nose, so that means my nose will probably get even more huge. I think that I am seeing a little improvement, and the lack of headaches is great. I am supposed to check back in, in a month and see how I feel. If it isn't better I will have to see an ENT specialist and probably have a CT scan done. Hopefully it won't come to that.
Josh shared this song at IMPACT a few weeks ago, and I can't stop listening to it.
